Information (in general) about the Dutch Ham Radio Convention
Saturday oktober 31st, 2020 in the IJsselhallen in Zwolle (Netherlands)
The organization of the Day for the Radio Amateur has decided to slightly increase the entrance prices in 2020, compared to those of 2019. We also maintain the rule of the past year to give young people up to the age of 16 free access. In case of doubt about the age, proof of identity must be shown at the entrance. On the day itself, VERON members pay € 8.00 on presentation of their valid VERON membership card. For non-members the entrance fee is € 10.00. They can become a member by registering on the VERON website and therefore pay € 8.00. Visitors in possession of the Golden VERON Pin have free access. The pin must be worn visibly.
Parking on the site in front of the IJsselhallen costs € 6.00 per day. The parking fee is determined by the IJsselhallen. It is advised to travel together as much as possible. An exit ticket can be purchased at the machine at the entrance. The IJsselhallen is a 10-minute walk from Zwolle train station.
Presale and tickets
We have decided to stop the presale at a reduced rate. That meant a lot of work and we noticed that fewer and fewer tickets were being sold. Ticket sales are now digitized and start on October 1 and last until October 31. You can purchase a digital access ticket in the webshop of the VERON service agency, https://webshop.veron.nl
After you have paid, print the document or save the QR code on your phone. Take the code with you and the QR code will be scanned at the entrance and you can enter it. This keeps the waiting time to a minimum.
Tickets can also be purchased at the counter, if you want to pay as much as possible with a debit card.
In the VERON 75 year anniversary year, you don’t want to miss the day for the radio amateur!
